Lev has traveled extensively throughout South and Central America, India, Israel, United Kingdom and Western and Eastern Europe. He is a purist and still loves shooting with film. His method is simple; to create just enough of a relationship to free the soul of his subject without influencing them so he can capture their story in all its complexity and simplicity.

Lev's fine art work led people to ask if he would photograph their children in natural settings. Taking the commission, Lev soon asked if he could photograph the family too as he found the dynamic just as interesting.
